Your servers.
A calmer terminal.

Keep local and SSH sessions alive in their own tabs while you move between them. When two need your attention, put them side by side in split view and keep working.

Every session, still running.

Open the sessions you need, switch between them without losing your place, and split the view when one terminal is not enough.

Tabs that stay alive

Open as many local or remote sessions as you need. Switch to another tab and the session keeps running.

Split view

Put two live sessions side by side. Watch logs in one while you work in the other.

Local and remote

Open PowerShell on your Windows machine or connect to any SSH-enabled server from the same workspace.

Your SSH config

See the hosts from ~/.ssh/config, edit it in the app, and continue using the setup you already trust.

Connections you recognise

Rename a connection for MadeBasic Terminal, choose a system icon, and pin recent folders where they are useful.

Stays out of the way

Adjust the type, cursor, scrollback, and theme. Then leave the terminal to do what a terminal should do.

Uses the tools you already trust.

MadeBasic Terminal uses Windows OpenSSH for connections and authentication. It does not store passwords, SSH-key passphrases, or private keys.

  • SSH encrypts the connection between your computer and the server.
  • Passwords and keys stay with Windows OpenSSH, not MadeBasic Terminal.
  • Quick Connect details are temporary and are not saved.
  • Licence status supports a limited offline period after activation.

Keep more than one session moving.

Multiple tabs that stay alive as you switch between them. Split view when two sessions need your attention.
